ControlTek to Attend the Medical Electronics Symposium September 14-15
2016 Medical Electronics Symposium at Marylhurst University
Hosted by the SMTA, the 2016 Medical Electronics Symposium will take place at Marylhurst University just outside of Portland, Oregon on September 14th and 15th. This marks the second year that the Symposium will take place in the Portland Metro area. Previous Symposium events have been held at locations in Arizona and California.
Last year more than 200 attendees visited the event for the latest advances in electronic technologies and advanced manufacturing, specifically for medical and bioscience applications. Previous technologies debuting at the Medical Electronics Symposium include implantable defibrillators, neurostimulators, ultrasound transducers, wireless communications, and future diagnostics and treatment solutions.
ControlTek President Andy LaFrazia and Design Engineering Manager David Flinchbaugh will attend the show this year to check out new technologies and sit in on speaker sessions focusing on design and assembly for high density medical electronics solutions and next generation microelectronics.
David Flinchbaugh, who joined ControlTek in 2015, has since been hard at work expanding ControlTek’s Design Engineering Program. Already an invaluable resource for our Medical Design and Manufacturing customers, the coming growth will include additional staff and engineering capabilities to support manufacturing customers.
