ControlTek Named One of 2016’s Healthiest Employers by Portland Business Journal

ControlTek is very proud to announce we have been honored as one of Oregon’s Healthiest Employers for 2016. This is ControlTek’s third time making the list, which is awarded by the Portland Business Journal each year for businesses in the Portland Metro region that are dedicated to providing a healthier workplace for employees throughout the year.

Healthiest Employer awards are given to companies with high scores in an online assessment that includes criteria such as leadership commitment, foundational components, strategic planning, communication and marketing, programming and interventions, and reporting and analysis. ControlTek has received awards multiple years for our Forward Living wellness program, which provides ControlTek employees with tools and support for taking daily steps towards a healthier lifestyle. The program includes access to tools like a full health risk assessment, individualized consultation from health professionals, goal planning, and of course--rewards for progress!

The Forward Living program has been a great success, and we are proud to be able to empower ControlTek employees to live happier, more successful lives.

The Healthiest Employer Awards will be delivered at the 2016 HR Summit and Healthiest Employers of Oregon happening August 19th at the Hilton Hotel in downtown Portland. ControlTek VP of Human Resources, Stacey LaFrazia Smith, will participate in this event on behalf of ControlTek.

This information-packed day includes not only an awards luncheon but also great events throughout the day.  This year, sessions will be focused on three main themes: caregiving and planning, maximizing your total rewards package to help attract and retain great talent, and delivering the healthcare of tomorrow (today).
