Join ControlTek at the AUVSI Future Robotics Forum October 19-21
The annual event, happening October 19-21 at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI), features 3 days of robotics education, technology demonstrations, and networking opportunities.
The future of Robotics has never been more exciting or ubiquitous, bringing new opportunities for those industries that are ready to take advantage of these new technologies.
This October, members of the autonomous systems community in the Pacific Northwest will have a chance to take an up close and personal look at some of the newest technologies entering the market when they attend the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) Future Robotics Forum. Once there, they’ll be able to check out all the latest trends in robotics and automation technology in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
Kicking off with a special Wednesday night dinner benefitting STEM education and featuring a keynote from Ryan Hartman, President and CEO of Insitu Inc., the event will take place through Friday, October 21st at OMSI. The main event is all day Thursday, October 20th, where attendees will enjoy a full day of robotics education and technology demonstrations. Highlights of this year’s event include special guest sessions on the future of Automation and Transportation, 3D technology, and Robotics Prosthetics, as well as sessions covering important regulations affecting Unmanned Systems Operation in the Northwest.
And finally, the event wraps up Friday with workshop sessions designed to help those interested in Drone start-ups and drone mapping. This final half-day event includes 2-hour workshops with industry pros to help those interested in getting their own entrepreneurial endeavors off the ground.
ControlTek will be a sponsor at the 2016 Forum; our Electronics Manufacturing Sales Representative, Bonnie Hadley, will be one of those in attendance throughout the event. As a member of the Cascade AUVSI Chapter, she is looking forward to attending Forum sessions and reconnecting with AUVSI members, as well as meeting some of the newer members who have joined the group since she originally joined back in 2008.
