MFG Day 2020 Will Focus on Virtual Events, Expanding Access

On Oct. 2, 2014, President Obama declared the first official National Manufacturing Day. 

Held the first Friday of every October, National Manufacturing Day (MFG Day) features a variety of events designed to help young people explore career opportunities in manufacturing. Each year, thousands of companies around the country open their doors to students, parents, teachers, and community leaders.

Friday, October 6th: The annual National Manufacturing Day is marked by events around the country that are designed to provide an inside look at the manufacturing industry and the opportunities that exist within the industry for the next generation of workers. This year, ControlTek teamed up with some of the Northwest's most inspiring companies to showcase some of the amazing work happening right in our own back yard and to discuss what it means to inspire our younger generations.
