ControlTek Expands Electronics Assembly Capacity with New SMT Equipment Investment

New Advanced SMT Capabilities

This year, ControlTek invested in several new advanced SMT machines, including the new Juki High-Speed Pick and Place, a high-speed SMT placement machine noted for both quality and flexibility in production. These new high-tech tools support the expansion of ControlTek's SMT capabilities. Our EMS manufacturing facility in Vancouver now includes three full SMT lines, increasing our manufacturing capacity by 35%. The added capacity means we are able to improve production turnaround times while increasing our accuracy and offering more flexible solutions for our customers.

Continuous improvement has been a guiding force at ControlTek since our inception. This investment makes up an important part of honoring our commitment to delivering quality working products to our customers.

In addition to the new Juki Pick and Place, we have also added:

  • SMT Jet Solder Printer
  • Koh Young AOI Machine
  • Heller Reflow Oven
  • Wash System

Custom PCB Applications

With the new equipment in place, ControlTek is also able to better meet the needs of those companies in need of specialty PCB assembly applications--including large format PCB (up to 18"x35"), metal core PCB for LED projects, and high voltage PCB assembly for those in need of custom PCB solutions.
