Forward Thinking Takes Center Stage at this Year’s IPC APEX EXPO
2016 IPC APEX EXPO March 13-17, 2016
The annual IPC APEX EXPO is coming up March 13-17 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and as usual the lineup of events, speakers, and technologies promises plenty of exciting options for attendees. The theme of this year’s conference is Forward Thinking, reflecting an overall focus on preparing for new innovations and new technologies in the coming years within the rapidly evolving EMS industry.
ControlTek’s Stacey LaFrazia Smith will be headed to the City of Lights to attend the day-long EMS Executive Roundtable on Monday, March 14th. These meetings have been favorites for our executive team in years past, providing an opportunity to meet with other EMS manufacturers and designers to get an in depth overview of the market and to find out how industry peers are handling similar challenges we each face within the industry.
The 2016 meeting promises to be just as enlightening as years past, covering highly relevant topics from legislative and regulatory updates to growth trends in Medical and Industrial electronics, or even how the Internet of Things applies to electronics manufacturing. Special sections will focus on EMS Program Management Training and Certification, a topic near and dear to us here at ControlTek as we strive to continually challenge and support both our employees and our customers by providing new professional development opportunities that benefit both.
Tuesday’s keynote will continue within the theme of innovation as it relates to inventive uses for technology that attempt to address problems to improve life. Dean Kamen, inventor of hundreds of products, including medical wearables and other devices, will be the featured speaker.
The event will continue through Thursday, March 17th. To get more information about this event or find registration info, visit IPCAPEXEXPO.ORG.
